The Unique feature of the B & W Companion™
is it's ingenious cam action latching mechanism
combines with a single shock absorber. The
latching mechanism is designed to be almost
effortless. The shock allow the head to pivot a
full 7 degrees, right and left (patent pending)
helping to prevent side to side binding. The
shock also holds the head level for easier
hook-up. The locking jaws are a full 1-1/4"
thick, providing a positive worry free hook-up. Vibration
dampening polyurethane bushings act as the base for
the front to back pivot of the unique saddle assembly
of the coupler. The Companion™ has 3 front to
back and 3 up and down adjustment settings, so the
weight is exactly where you need it and adapts to any
truck you choose. No-Marring pads protect the
bed of your truck from direct metal to metal
contact. The final remarkable feature of the
Companion is it's rugged good looks. This hitch looks
like it belongs in the bed of your truck, ready to
work.
