Tired of a heavy tailgate on your utility trailer?

I recently installed this new product and was impressed. The customer owned a water irrigation company where he laid outdoor sprinkler systems. He had a small single axle trailer that he used to haul a trencher. The tailgate was extremely heavy. I installed the gorilla lift and now you can lift it with two fingers. I rarely get excited about new products but I have been dealing with heavy tailgates for 25 years on customer's trailers and it was getting old. This product is simple but effective.

Is a two-sided tailgate assist; it attaches to both side rails. This prevents very heavy tailgates from warping or the hinges from deteriorating prematurely from uneven stress.

NOTE: This assist system is designed for trailers that have side rails 10" - 24" high. The trailer above did not have side rails....It was a flatbed. I welded a partial side rail on the rear (basically an upright at back) and a pc of 2" angle from fender to this upright. This allowed for a platform the gorilla lift could be mounted to. It will work on single or tandem axle trailers that meet above requirements. The Gorilla Lift is approx. 72" long.
