For a gooseneck hitch that works in
conjunction with your 5th wheel, you need the GOOSE.
This design eliminates the need to cut the
truck bed, utilizes the same base rails as our standard 5th wheel
hitches and is easily removable by simply removing the four pins
(included).. The 2-5/16" heat treated ball and attractive powdercoat finish are
included.

NOTE: Fifth wheels are NOT recommended for
use on flare side
pickup vehicles due to possible interference between the
trailer pin box and the side of the pickup truck bed.
We have found
variations in clearance between the top of the Chevrolet and GMC pick up
truck fuel tanks and the bottom of the truck bed of as much as
1/2". To account for the few fits with minor contact we are
modifying current inventory and futur product to provide an additional
1/8" of clearence between the hitch and the fuel tank
This affects some
installation of 50536/R58079 Hide-A-Goose hitch on "New Body
Style" 2007 and later Chevrolet and GMC 2500/3500 pickup trucks at
the front driver side corner of the head. If you find an installation
with contact of the head to the gas tank in this area, contact our tech
line at 888-521-0510
New product with
yellow dots on the box or with a manufactured date after 2/26/08 will
have been adjusted and will be a good fit.
