ROADMASTER’S FOUR BRACKET STYLES
There are 3 main styles of ROADMASTER
mounting brackets. In some cases, ROADMASTER offers more than
one style of bracket for a given vehicle. The different
designs are described below.

MX & MS SERIES BRACKETS
MX &
MS Series Brackets are designed
specifically for vehicles with heavy-duty frames such as the
Suburban and full-size pick-ups. The MX Series has
removable/pull-out bracket arms, similar to the XL Series
brackets. The MS Series is just like the MX Series brackets
except that the arms are not removable. MX & MS Series
Brackets do not require a cross bar (QD base) due to the
heavy-duty nature of the vehicle's frame. The elimination of the
cross bar simplifies installation, speeds up the hook-up process,
and enhances the total appearance. MX & MS Series Brackets can
be used with all ROADMASTER motor home-mounted tow bars. Always
make sure that the tow bar you choose is rated in excess of the
weight of the towed vehicle with all its contents. |

XL Bracket
for motor home mounted tow bars. Make sure tow bar rating exceeds actual weight of towed
vehicle fully loaded.
|
|
MX and MS brackets are specially designed
for all ROADMASTER motor home mounted tow bars.
They eliminate the need for the cross base that
is shipped with all motor home mounted bars. Note the MX and MS
bracket ears will not work with a car mounted tow bar
such as the STOWMASTER. You still need to be sure the
tow bar used is rated in excess of the weight of the
towed vehicle.

Universal Wiring Kit contains the components necessary to wire cars
or trucks for towing behind a motor home. Prevents electrical
feedback and protects both vehicle's electrical systems. The kit
comes with step-by-step instructions, 30' molded 4-wire with
connections, 6' molded 4-wire with connections, 3' plastic wire
loom, ring terminal, wire connectors, cable ties and 2 Hy-Power™

trimming of the spoiler, air dam or
plastic fascia may be required on some models of this vehicle.
2. Fog lights must be removed if present on this vehicle.
30. Some vehicles will require Quick-Disconnect brackets for the
additional space needed for TRACKER tow bar to fit properly.
37. This
bracket will accommodate any ROADMASTER motor home mounted tow
bar. This bracket is designed for heavier vehicles. Make sure the
tow bar you use exceeds the weight of the vehicle to be towed when
full loaded. anchor brackets for Sterling cables WILL NOT
FIT MX or MS style brackets. To use MS or MX bracket with Sterling
tow bar, the Sterling cable anchors must be attached to the
frame of the vehicle or welded to the receiver portion of the
bracket.
45. This
bracket will not fit with the bumper fascias on the AJ or AK Body
Styles.
NOTE:
Damage to front end mounted accessories such as hitches, brush guards, snowplows, etc. may interfere with
installation of brackets. |
