Why should I stock this additional bike rack?
    The product fits both 1-1/4" and 2" receivers. Thus, you don't have to carry multiple SKU's. The product can accommodate the most extreme bicycle frames even children's bikes. The product is very lightweight making it very easy to handle.

How many bicycles will the SportWing carry?
    The 5801200 model will carry  up to 2-bikes. However, a 4-bike model for a 2" receiver will be available by January of 2009.

Will the SportWing fit both an 1-1/4" and 2" receiver?
    Yes. The 5801200 model comes equipped with a 1-1/4" to 2" shank adapter kit. The bike carrier itself is designed to fit standard 1-1/4" receivers. However, by using the adapter you are able to use the carrier in 2" receivers.

Is the SportWing easy to assemble?
    Yes. The total assembly time is less than 10 minutes using only four 5/16" bolts and lock nuts. An instruction sheet is included in each packaged product.

Can the SportWing be stored in your vehicle when NOT in use?
    Yes. By releasing the two snap pins the support arms can easily be removed for compact storage.

How do I prevent my bikes from being stolen from my bike carrier?
    Securing your bikes with a cable lock is highly recommended. The cable lock can be run through the bike frame and then secured to the vehicle's safety chain bracket.

Is it easy for my bike carrier to be stolen?
    Most bike carriers can be secured to the vehicle for theft protection. Upgrading from a standard 1/2" pin and clip to a 1/2" locking pin will help prevent your bike carrier from being stolen.

Will my new bike carrier fit any diameter bike frame or size?
    Yes. The patented technology supports the bike by the wheels not the frame. it is fully adjustable to fit adult and children's bike sizes. It allows you to carry multiple bike styles at the same time.

Can the SportWing bike carrier damage my bicycle or bicycles?
    The majority of the bike carrier parts that come in contact with the bike are protected. the bicycles frames and rims are all protected by the soft foam pads. If the product is installed properly. no damage will be done to your bicycle.

Does the SportWing have a manufacture warranty?
    Yes. The product is backed by a 1-year Limited Warranty.
